A Conceptual Framework For The Factors Influencing The Accounting Students Career Choice As Public Accountants

Purpose: The aim of this research is to provide a critical review literature on the factors influencing accounting students’ career choice be public accountants and develop conceptual framework. Methodology: study follows qualitative mythological approach by reviewing relevant pertaining such as financial rewards, prestige in society, work environment, continuous education opportunities, professional independence family closest friends, GPA or grade students, labour market considerations, future educational plan, self-motivation, cultural, social media along with applicable theories. Findings: These indicate trending pattern which influences decision choices students become accountants. analysis indicates that previous studies, several showed positive significant influence also provides implications these studies’ findings directions for incorporating new variables studies. Originality/Value: This meant raise more awareness suggested framework will help researchers evidence factors. College university Professors should able execute activities back have attitude about accountancy courses. Universities can produce policies procedures focusing extrinsic motivation, exposure, values, etc. motivating them choose career.
